Oryx Mailstore 0.98
0.98 was released on 2005-09-19.
This release continues to improve the usability of Mailstore in production (we've been running it on our mail server for some time).
The next release is expected on 2005-10-17 and 1.0 in November. If you would like to be notified, please join our announcements list.
Changes since 0.97:
- HTML attachments are more amenable to searching.
- The installer is no longer an ungainly shell script.
- Numerous IMAP fixes (including support for COPY and STATUS).
- A number of other bugs have been fixed.
Known bugs and other defects:
- The HTML parser could be better.
- Memory consumption is still a problem.
- The common far-Eastern character sets aren't handled.
- msconsole and the HTTP server aren't really usable.
Note:
- Archiveopteryx 0.98 is no longer supported. We advise upgrading to 1.16 or later.
